ARTIST BEDROOM_KRAKOW 2012

Before JANG founder Filip Gałuszka left Europe to move to China, he secured his last interior project in Poland. In 2012, one of the most recognized Polish artists, Paulina Olowska, approached JANG with a creative idea to redesign her bedroom and incorporate a massive custom wardrobe inside. For this project, we collaborated closely with another architect friend, Bart Winnicki, and together we designed a very simple yet uniquely distinctive space tailored for Paulina. As a result, the entire bedroom was transformed into an artistic patchwork, combining new, custom-made furniture with the warm patina of the countryside’s old wooden house. All the furniture was expertly crafted by the skilled JANG Polish carpenter team. To this day, this project remains in our portfolio as one of the most sentimental and treasured designs, deeply connected to our motherland.
